Wang Leehom
I am very grateful for that Wang Leehom is on Spotify. In that way, I’m able to listen to his newest albums. That’s great! It was quite some time since I listened to him the most, but I still like him as an artist and he’s a favourite, for sure. There’s a couple of Japanese artists on Spotify even for me as a Swedish fan to listen to, but not at all that many as I’d like them to be. For example, there’s no Gackt on Spotify and there’s no Chihiro Onitsuka, but Miyavi is also avaliable for me on Spotify. That’s a comfort. I’m not sure how many Chinese artists there are, beside Wang Leehom.

Imported LiveJournal posts
I have imported all my livejournal posts to this blog. That’s because I’m not updating the LiveJournal blog enough. The last two years, I’ve got two posts. You get the picture. I’ll use this blog instead. But I’ll miss the tag system and the opportunity to add “mood” and “current music” to the posts. That’s the most fun with LiveJournal. Bear with me when I’m trying to make the LiveJournal posts work in WordPress. For some reason some of the posts have strange things written in them, I guess it’s due to that I’ve posted some LiveJournal posts first written in Microsoft Word, and WordPress can’t cope with that. I’m sorry for whatever trouble it may cause for you. Also, the tag system screwed up when importing to WordPress. They look ok, right, but I want small letters all over. How do I do that in WordPress? I’ve changed all categories and tags to small letters but the Big ones keep poping up. It’s annoying and it irritates me. I’ll try to solve that as well, but it’ll take some time. Bear with me in the meantime. Feel free to surf the blog and read all of my old LiveJournal entries. Right now, most of them are in the “Uncategorized” category because WordPress imported all tags to be just that – tags – and not put in any category. With time being I’ll try to put all LiveJournal entries in a category as well. And all of the old LiveJournal posts, I’ll put in the category “livejournal” as well. Some of the posts are the same as my old WordPress ones; that’s because I posted them on both blogs at the same time. Have patience with me while I search them up and remove the “twin” posts. I like LiveJournal, and WordPress is ok as well, but I’m not really familiar with WordPress yet, hence I loose patience from time to time. But I want to have two blogs and not three, so there you are. Anyways, I’ll continue to read my LiveJournal friends pages… and keep the old LiveJournal, but I guess I’ll not update it further. We’ll see what will happen. Time will tell.
Onna! Onna! Onna!
Once again, ages ago… I guess it’s because I think I don’t have enough readers here… And also, because I have not, and that surprise me(!), listened to music much lately… The last half a year or so, I’ve a lot of time with just silence. Every now and then I’ve been listening to music using Spotify. But that’s about it.
I don’t know why, but yesterday, suddenly I was SO eager for music. I started listening to my old favourites. BOØWY and T.M.Revolution. And now today, also GACKT(!!). Gackt is still going strong. I just started listening to a live album. “YELLOW FRIED CHICKENz Kirameki Otokojuku ~Manjo Konyoku Mizugi Matsuri~”, and I am caught instantly. Also, it’s big fun listening to the audience and their cheering. And of course, to hear Gackt screaming to the audience in a loud sort of hoarse voice… too much screaming, I guess? Because he has stopped smoking, hasn’t he? (Or is it just rumours?). Anyways, it’s fun listening to music again. I have missed it.
Of course, I do listen to music every now and then, even during the last months, but not every day, as I used to. So it’s a big diff.
It SO much fun to hear Gackt screaming “ONNA!” (woman/women)… I guess it’s because of the Koakuma heaven song, which is from a woman’s perspective, guess it’s sort of stereotypic and daring in the same time… A woman singing “My favourite numbers are 6 and 9.” No further comments about that, lol. It’s a lot of interaction with the (female) audience in this live album anyway, that’s for sure. And the interaction I’m talking about is on the album just after he has sung Koakuma Heaven (♀美濡戯edition♀).
About the songs of Gackt, it’s much fun to listen to the live version because the songs differ from those of the the studio album versions. Also he has, as in the song “Flower”, the audience to sing along with him and answer him. But again, since Gackt is such a talented artist, all the songs still has a great quality as if they were part of a studio album.

Painting on Rocks
Quite a while ago, couple of years ago actually, I made a stone lion. Now I’ve taken that hobby up again. I’m painting on rocks again. My goal is to paint one stone per month this year, the year of 2011. I’ve finished the rock of January already; it’s a cat. Here is a photo:

Virkverket – Vinn boken Virkligheten

After the exhibition
The exhibition in May went swimmingly. Three women, including me, held the exhibition – my mother, my sister-in-law and I. We all sold paintings. I sold five. Yay! It was wonderful! I’m looking forward to do this again next year. There is so much fun to have an exhibition, to be able to show your work, and to mingle with friends. Lots of family and friends came to look at the paintings. I’m most grateful; all the guests were happy and seemed to have a lot of fun. So had I! And I managed to finish all the paintings I had in mind, well in time before the exhibition. I’m happy and full of positive memories from the event.
New paintings and drawings
I have updated my portfolio. Be sure to check it out! There is more to come, so be sure to come back again! Have fun!

Finished or not finished?
As with most projects, my biggest problem is to know when it’s time to finish; when to say to myself: “this is good, I’m gonna stop now, and be satisfied”.
It’s not even two weeks to the exhibition, and I’m finishing paintings. Trying to. How to know when to stop? Look at the two paintings below. Are they finished? Are they not finished? I don’t think they are… or are they?

Thoughts and Errors
It was ages since I last wrote a post here. Maybe it’s too much with three blogs? I don’t want it to be different, though, as I’m using Havsdjupens sal for writing, Creative Harmony for creative projects other than writing, and this blog, well, it’s here because I might want to write about music from time to time – as well as other crazy things, not suitable for serious blogs… ^^;; But on the other hand it might be better to have just one blog; I’d have more readers… or so I guess… Please add your comment in the matter, if you’ve got an opinion or two…
I scrolled back and read a few of my old posts here at LiveJournal. Sadly the YouTube videos don’t work anymore. I’m sorry! They are all closed due to terms of violation. I recommend you to go to youtube.com and search for yourself. Hopefully new versions of the music videos are out there. Search for “Gackt” for example, and you’ll get tons of PV’s, just waiting for you to watch them. Have fun!

Progress
I am making progress.
I have continued painting on the seashell painting. In one state the shells were in silver. I wasn’t happy about it. Today they got more like yellowish. I like them more now. Maybe the painting is almost finished? I just lack the finish on the starfish. I want it to be more alive. Right now it’s just boring red. I’ll add the white touch tomorrow afternoon.
I’m finishing another painting as well. It is an illustration for my children’s book called DF. Read more about my children’s books projects here (in Swedish). I have made the curtain more alive, the painting in whole more black, and I’ve made it better. Now I just have to continue painting, and eventually it will be finished. When it is, I will scan it into my computer, and send a copy with the manuscript to a publishing house. I hope to publish the story along with the acrylic paintings.
